Yannis Faidherbe is a director of photography based in Brussels, Belgium.

He began his visual journey during his teenage years when his high school opened a photography club and his first images came to life in the developer bath.

He graduated from the esteemed School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California with an M.F.A in Film and Television Production. He has since shot a number of films in several different locations such as Los Angeles, Cannes, Cyprus and Budapest which have won awards and been nominated in several international festivals.

He won Best Cinematography at the 5th Byzanfest film festival for his work on ANATHEMA, a short film shot on the island of Cyprus. This picture also won Best Greek Short at the 15th Cyprus International Film Festival
